By creating a PesaIQ account or using our services, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use PesaIQ. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and PesaIQ.
PesaIQ is a personal financial intelligence platform that helps you analyze your M-Pesa transaction data. We provide transaction categorization, spending analytics, budget planning, savings goal tracking, merchant intelligence, financial health scoring, and AI-powered financial insights.
You must be at least 18 years old to use PesaIQ. By using our service, you represent that you are 18 or older and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. PesaIQ is currently available for use in Kenya.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. Do not share your login credentials with others.
When you import M-Pesa SMS messages or PDF statements, you confirm that you are the rightful owner of that financial data and have the right to share it with PesaIQ for processing. You grant PesaIQ a limited license to process this data solely for the purpose of providing our services to you.
You agree not to: use PesaIQ for any illegal purpose, attempt to access other users' data, reverse-engineer or copy our technology, use automated tools to scrape or extract data from PesaIQ, impersonate another person or entity, or upload false or misleading financial data.
PesaIQ provides financial analytics and AI-powered insights for informational purposes only. We are not a licensed financial advisor, bank, or investment firm. Nothing on PesaIQ constitutes financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. Always consult a qualified professional before making financial decisions. PesaIQ is not responsible for any financial decisions you make based on our platform.
We strive to maintain 99% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to PesaIQ. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience outages. We are not liable for any losses resulting from service interruptions.
All PesaIQ technology, design, algorithms, and content are owned by PesaIQ and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of our platform without explicit written permission.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PesaIQ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our service, including but not limited to loss of data, financial losses, or business interruption.
You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, all your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of PesaIQ after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Kenya. If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force.
